A simple formula/technique to sell more and be happier doing it!
First, list everything you did yesterday during the working hours that you can remember.
It might not be easy. Mine was much shorter than I thought it would be. Try to estimate the time each task you recall took.
Take a look at which task leads or will lead to a sale. Do more of that activity today! Double or triple your time doing it today over yesterday.
Next, recall how much of your time was a waste or a way of procrastination. You’ll recognize it because when you look back, it was the most challenging part of your day. Those activities were probably worrying, fearing you would hear no, and thinking of reasons to wait. Look at the time you estimated for the waste. Spend half the time on that type of thing today. Set a timer if you need to.
Lastly, how much time did you spend face-to-face all in attention with your family and friends uninterrupted? Double that time today. Turn the phone off if you need to.
Follow this formula for a week or two. I think you will find you sell more, you’re more content, and you have more energy than before. What can be wrong with more time selling, less time worrying, and more time connecting with the people that count.
