Have you ever felt stuck? Not living the life you want, or maybe you need a change?
My friend Deanna Cooper Gillingham shares some great things during our podcast interview (ep) about making a change toward the life you want.
I remember the first time I heard Deanna’s story when she was a guest on a podcast.
She described this fairy tale life living oceanside in Mexico.
She talked about how she earns American dollars but spends much of the year living on pesos.
I couldn’t believe the bravery and clarity she must have had to make the leap to live in Mexico.
Then, I got to meet her and hear her complete story, which is even braver and shows even more drive and clarity.
But there’s something even better about Deanna.
The desire to help others and her heart for nurses and patients is an even deeper desire than her own dreams.
Her compassion for others and unselfish pursuit of making things better for them pushed her to build her dream life and continue to help others live theirs.
She shares with us how it started. She knew she wanted a change in her nursing career. Initially, it felt like she needed it to be something unrelated to nursing.
But then the magic happened after she decided to start with what she already knew and loved and build on it.
She didn’t start from scratch but instead chose to solve a problem. She developed the solution to a problem and made the solution available to others!
There’s that drive and focus at work again. Listen to the podcast (here) for the whole story, and be prepared to be inspired!
