Evaluating Your Strengths

Have you considered evaluating your strengths?

I mean, really thought about them? How can you use them to be better, more confident, and, best of all, more helpful to others?

Our first instinct is to work on what needs work. I’ll admit I initially get excited when I see the results of any personality assessment I’ve ever taken.

But then, I inevitably look at what I lack. I’ll blame my second strongest strength (competition).

My focus quickly turns to managing my weakness instead of my strength.

This week my guest on the podcast is Dr. Judy Oskam. She is fun and full of joy. I could talk to her all day long. But, not only is she a joy, she’s taught me so much.

Listen in on the podcast to hear some great reminders.

For one, we all have all of the 34 personality attributes within us. So there are no bad results!

But, in addition, we don’t have to worry about our weaknesses to gain control.

Instead, we can tie our strengths together to become even better.

She talks about it and shares more about her tiny habits project in our episode. She even has a class to offer at a great discount to you as one of my listeners.

I’ve had both a strategy session with her as well as signing up for her class. Both have been so eye-opening and useful in making my life and work more enjoyable and productive.

So listen to how to have more success working within your strengths.

I know you will love the conversation we have on the podcast.

If you are curious, my top 5 strengths are Ideation, Competition, Intellection, Futuristic, and Learner!

If you know your top 5 strengths or decide to take the assessment, I would love to hear them and how you put them to work.
