You must Believe.
If you are going to be successful in selling, you must believe what you are offering has value. You must believe that the idea you have is a good one. You must believe it is worth the money you want in exchange for it from others.
I had read Harland Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, was told “no” 1009 times before he heard “yes.” We’ve all heard how Blockbuster passed on Netflix.
The most successful people and businesses reached success by believing and not giving up, and not by achieving their goals in one day or overnight.
Just because one person or 1009 tells you “no,” it doesn’t mean it’s not valuable, it doesn’t mean it won’t work, but it means you must believe enough to try again.
The most important thing to learn in sales is that even smart people you admire and respect can pass on what you have, and you can still be right about what you believe will work or what is valuable.
