There are just over eight weeks left in the year as we enter November.
Tell me, which of these three positions do you find yourself in as we enter the downhill slide into the end of the year?
- You didn’t have specific goals. You know you would like to maximize your efforts, but how?
- You met your goals, and now it’s time to chill.
- You had goals and met some, but you are a long way from goal on a few. You aren’t sure you can even make it now.
So let’s talk about what to do next, depending on your situation.
If you didn’t have goals but think you may want to explore them for 2023, staying tuned to Selling with Charm over the coming weeks and months will give you plenty of inspiration and options as we explore goals and mindfulness.
Next, if you have already met your goals, start to dream new dreams.
Now, if you have found yourself in the third position and have a long way to go and a short time to get there, here are five steps to give yourself an excellent opportunity to make up for the lost time.
- Define where you are off. What area of life and what precisely was the goal?
- By how much are you missing the mark?
- Divide the how much by the number of weeks. If you are missing the sales number you wanted to make for the year by $20,000, you have eight weeks to get there. You will need to sell $2500 weekly for eight weeks.
- Dedicate time daily to focus on your goal and block out distractions. It doesn’t have to be hours and hours, but it should be specific and consistent.
- Continue to focus on and tend to the essential things outside your goal, but push the less important things that can wait until 2023.
We will continue to inspire and cheer you on through blogs, podcasts, and specific offerings.
Make sure not to miss an episode over the next couple of months if you are serious about making progress either in the time remaining in 2022 or 2023.
